The Promise of Rest – this stands today – God has a place for our relaxation, where we are home both physically and spiritually.
The Prevention of Rest – it is our unbelief in God’s Word, which is still active and living. God keeps His promise to us as He did for the Hebrews, to provide that home.
Entering into Rest – Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:28.. “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”. The temporal things of this world will fade away, but Jesus will provide that eternal rest. Take Him up on His invitation – accept and believe in Him.
